The Socientize team is working on the “White Paper on Citizen Science in Europe”. This document compiles the contributions from more than 120 people, coming from European institutions and abroad. It is one of the most important results of the project in order to transmit the recommendations from the citizen science community to stakeholders in the research policy field on a European and national level.
This work is led by the Centre for Social Innovation, Centre for Social Innovation, from Vienna (Austria). They are working with the whole consortium to elaborate the structure of our white paper, a complex document that must be of value for policymakers with different levels of know-how about Citizen Science.
The white paper is the result of a consultation process which started in Summer 2013 and was organised via different channels: open calls for contributions, virtual and face-to-face workshops, and the online contribution platform under whitepaper.socientize.eu.
Stay tuned on @socientize in Twitter and on our website an Facebook site for more news about the whitepaper.
